NOTES: This cemetery was surveyed by the BCHC in 1986. It is located about seven miles west of Meridian on a place owned in 1986 by G. R. Merriman of Plano. Only parts of an old fence remained and there were no identifiable graves. The Abernathy family lived there from about 1875 to 1924. From the Meridian Tribune and from a neighbor, at least three persons have been identified as being buried there.
