This catalog lists what is physically available for viewing at the Bosque County Collection in Meridian. Donations of material of historic interest are gladly accepted by The Bosque County Collection. Click on the links below to view the vast amount of information available.
- Archives - contributed papers of individuals, organizations, and institutions including records and miscellaneous
non-published primary research materials
- Family Histories - family histories,
news articles, obituaries, etc. by surname
- Genealogies - publications tracing roots of Bosque County families
- Government Records - early deed records, marriage records, census and tax
rolls, sheriff records, school records, and other county records
- Library - books and published documents including histories of Bosque County, cemetery records,
accounts of the people and communities of the county, telephone books, high
school/college annuals
- Maps - early surveys of Bosque County, historical county road
maps, Sanborn fire maps, and aerial photos
- Newspapers - various county newspapers from as early as 1886 in both microfilm and print format
- Oral Histories - audio cassette tape recordings of oral histories and interviews as well as recordings
of public events
- Photographs - negative and positive photographic images of historical Bosque County events, locations, and residents
- Vertical File - a collection of some 1,500 family histories, printed materials, clippings, pamphlets, etc., which serve as a ready reference source for researchers
